Save your pace plans with custom names. Tap 'Save' and enter a plan name. Use auto-name generation for quick saving based on save timestamp. Save limits vary by plan (Free: 3, Basic: 10, Pro: 100). Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Does it support distances other than full marathon?

Yes, it supports half marathon (21.0975km), 30km, 20km, 10km, and custom distances (1.0-200.0km). You can use it for ultra marathons and other long-distance races.

Q2: What is the pace setting range?

You can set pace from 2:00/km to 60:00/km. It covers a wide range from beginner's slow pace to elite runner's fast pace.

Q3: What is the precision of custom distance?

Up to 4 decimal places (0.0001km). You can set precise distances like 21.0975km (half marathon).

Q4: I selected even pace but the last segment pace differs from others. Is this calculation correct?

Yes, it's calculated correctly. The app manages pace in integer seconds (seconds/km), so when the theoretical pace from dividing target time by distance includes decimals, rounding to integers creates errors that are adjusted in the final segment. This adjustment minimizes the difference from target time.

This adjustment also applies to negative split and positive split strategies.

Q5: Is there a limit to the number of plans I can save?

Limits vary by plan. Free plan allows 3 plans, Basic plan allows 10, and Pro plan allows 100. To save more than your limit, delete existing plans first.

Q6: Can I share my pace strategies with others?

Yes, you can share pace strategies via SNS (LINE, X, Facebook, etc.) or email using the share feature. Recipients can view the strategy from the shared link, and if they have version 1.2.0 or later installed, they can open it directly in the app. If the app is not installed or is version 1.1.0 or earlier, please download the latest version from the App Store.

Q7: I received a shared link. How can I view it?

Tap the shared link to view the pace strategy content in an in-app browser. If you have Marathon Pace Planner version 1.2.0 or later installed, tap the 'Open in App' button to view the strategy in the app. If the app is not installed or is version 1.1.0 or earlier, please download the latest version from the App Store.

Q8: Can I print the pace table?

Yes, with a Basic or Pro plan subscription, you can print your pace table directly from the app. Carry your printed pace table on race day to check your pace anytime.

Q9: Can I use the app offline?

All features except sharing work offline. Core features like pace calculation, strategy planning, and saving/viewing plans require no internet connection, so you can use them confidently at race venues.

Q10: Does it have GPS tracking?

No, this app specializes in pace planning and does not have GPS tracking. It focuses simply on pace distribution planning and reference.

Q11: Is data synced?

No, all data is stored locally on your device. There's no cloud sync, but your privacy is protected and it works fully offline.

Q12: What should I do if the app doesn't work correctly?

First, completely quit the app and restart it. If the problem continues, try restarting your device. If it still doesn't work, please contact support at apps@obaonline.net.

Q13: Are there plans to support platforms other than iOS?

Currently it's an iOS-only app. Future developments will be considered based on user feedback.

Q14: What subscription plans are available?

There are three plans: Free, Basic (monthly/yearly), and Pro (monthly/yearly). Basic features are available on the free plan, while paid plans offer ad-free experience, print feature, increased save slots, and extended shared link validity.

Q15: How do I pay for and manage my subscription?

Payment is processed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Q16: What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You can continue using paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll return to the free plan. If you have more than 3 saved plans, you'll need to delete some before saving new ones.
